Matthew is the Associate Director of the Ivey Centre for Building Sustainable Value. He has over twenty years’ experience in sustainability working with international organizations, NGOs and the private sector. Prior to his position at Ivey, Matthew was the Vice President – Global Partnerships and Initiatives at the World Council on City Data, and the Director, Sustainable Cities at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development in Geneva Switzerland.

Matthew has a Masters Degree in Environmental Technology majoring in Environmental Economics and Policy from Imperial College, London, a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership, and a First Class Honours Degree in Environmental Engineering.
