This year, Ivey’s HBA Not-For-Profit Club organized a board meeting simulation, to help HBA students understand what it means to serve on a board. The intimate event allowed students to participate in a mock board meeting, lead by Martha Powell (Executive Director of the London Community Foundation) and Jeanette Eberhard (former Board Chair of the London Community Foundation.) The event sold out quickly, as organizers squeezed 20 eager HBAs around an 18-person board table for engaged discussion.
