Vinicio joined the Centre for Building Sustainable Value (BSV) in June 2025 as a postdoctoral research fellow at Ivey Business School. His research explores the tensions and paradoxes involved in aligning business practices and consumer behavior with sustainability goals. He is particularly interested in how organizations and individuals navigate conflicting demands in the context of the circular economy. More recently, his work has examined the relationship between business and biodiversity through a regeneration lens.
His research was recognized with a Best Paper Award nomination at the 2024 Academy of Management Conference in the Organization and Management Theory Division.
Vinicio earned his PhD in Sustainability, Innovation, and Healthcare Management from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, Italy, and was a visiting researcher at the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
Outside of research, he is passionate about teaching and sees the classroom as a space to challenge assumptions, spark critical thinking, and empower students to engage with complex sustainability issues. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, and painting.
