Bio
Prior to Ivey, I completed a Bachelor in English Language and Literature, which has since provided a foundation for my arts/humanitarian perspective on issues. I have found that sustainability is a perfect marriage of my Arts and Humanities education with my Business education at Ivey. Aside from school, I am an enthusiastic yogi and I practice and work at Moksha Yoga London. I love people and being exposed to different cultures. Other passions include music, food, and being outdoors.

Additional Information

Personal Definition of Sustainability
Sustainability is making social and environmentally minded decisions that have a positive impact on present and future generations. Sustainability broadens the scope of business, including the values and impact that businesses should have on society and the environment.

Sustainability-in-Action
Unfortunately I have not been engaged with sustainability projects thus far, aside from class assignments. I am a new recruit into the world of sustainability and while my current engagement in sustainability is purely educational, I hope to work for or start a social enterprise in the future. I am currently employed at Moksha Yoga London, a company that is very environmentally conscientious. For example, cleaning products are entirely natural (i.e. water and vinegar solutions), waiver forms are laminated and reused, and most administrative work is completed electronically. I'd argue that the studio itself is socially minded by ensuring that individuals positively maximize their psychological and physical body to enhance their daily life.
