This course explores how businesses become international and operate across diverse host environments. We will analyze strategies for building operations abroad, challenges co-ordinating between headquarters and subsidiaries, as well as processes bridging across culturally diverse settings. Beyond the business, our analyses include engagements of societal and political actors in a variety of host countries. As you develop your international management competences, you will integrate ethical and social responsibility issues inherent in doing business beyond Canada.
