| Entrepreneurship | Pierre L. Morrissette HBA Award in Entrepreneurship | Awarded to a full-time HBA student who is enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Certificate Program. In addition to illustrating outstanding academic quality, the successful applicant will have expressed a strong interest in entrepreneurship and been accepted through Ivey's Advanced Entry Opportunity (AEO). | Merit Scholarships | POMC Undergraduate Award | Awarded to a student in HBA 2 who has shown distinguished performance in the HBA 1 Operations Management Course at the Ivey Business School. The HBA Scholarship Committee, in consultation with the faculty teaching the first-year Operations Management course, will make the final selection of the recipient. | Merit Scholarships | Raymond L McFeetors Scholarship in Honors Business Administration | Awarded to a full-time undergraduate student of outstanding quality entering the Honors Business Administration Program at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement in their first two years of their program at Western (minimum criterion of 80% entry average). The scholarship will be tenable in first year of the HBA program, and renewable to second year based upon the maintenance of a minimum average of 80%. The recipient will be selected by the HBA Scholarship and Awards Committee at the Ivey Business School. This scholarship was established by Raymond L. | Financial Need and Merit Awards | Reg Jackson HBA Entrepreneurship Award | Awarded annually to a full-time student entering the HBA program at the Ivey Business School, based on academic achievement, community leadership, interest in entrepreneurship and/or family business, and who has demonstrated financial need. Where possible, preference will be given to a student from the St. Mary’s or Stratford communities, or from Huron or Perth counties. The HBA Awards Committee will select the recipients after the Office of the Registrar assesses financial need. The award will be renewed for HBA2 provided the student remains a full-time student and continues to meet the award criteria. | Merit Scholarships | Rogers Family Award in Business | Available to a full-time undergraduate student entering the first year of study at the Ivey Business School following two years or more of study in any faculty at Western University based on academic achievement. Preference will be given to the student who has demonstrated the greatest increase in his or her annual academic average between the first year of university study and completion of the second year of university. Candidates must also demonstrate an aptitude for creative and innovative thought, exceptional achievement in extracurricular activities and commitment to active citizenship. | Entrepreneurship | Sabourin Family HBA Scholarship in Entrepreneurship | Awarded to a full-time undergraduate HBA Student who is applying for acceptance into the Certificate in Entrepreneurship stream. The recipient will be selected based on who best personifies the spirit, passion and drive necessary to become a successful entrepreneur. A shortlist of potential award recipients will be determined by the Director of the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship based on the Entrpreneurship Certificate Stream application forms. The HBA Scholarship Review Committee will select the award recipient in consultation with the Director of the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship. | Merit Scholarships | Scotiabank HBA2 In Program Award | Awarded annually to full-time students entering their second Year of the Honors Business Administration program (HBA2) at the Ivey Business School who have an interest in pursuing a career in the financial services industry in Canada or Latin America. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ways in which they embrace competencies important to Scotiabank, including the following: a fast and effective problem solver (applies intellect to identify and pull key levers); and, curious and drives innovation (brings creative, diverse ideas to enable continuous improvement and constantly raise the bar). Interest in the financial services industry and demonstration of Scotiabank’s competencies will be measured by each candidate’s response to a short essay question. | Merit Scholarships | Seijts HBA Leadership Character Award | Awarded to a graduating HBA student in the Ivey Business School who has demonstrated exemplary leader character throughout their program. Academic achievement will also be considered. In March of each year, the HBA Program Office at Ivey will solicit nominations from both faculty and classmates. The Ivey HBA program, in consultation with the Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership, will select the recipients.
This award was established by the Advisory Council of the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership to recognize Gerard for his 12 years of exemplary and dedicated leadership while serving as the Institute’s Executive Director. Gerard’s impact and many contributions to the research and development of leader character is a lasting legacy for the Institute and Ivey.

| Ivey Leader Scholarship | Serge Gouin & Denise Chicogyne HBA Leaders Scholarship | Awarded to a full-time student entering the HBA 1 Program at the Ivey Business School whose first language is French and resides in Quebec, based on academic achievement and demonstrated community leadership. Preference will be given to a student who has graduated from a publicly funded high school. The recipient may continue to receive the award in HBA 2, provided that they maintain an 80% average. If a recipient does not qualify to retain their scholarship, a new recipient will be selected from the same year as the current recipient. The HBA Scholarship Committee at Ivey, including the Director of the HBA program will review and select each scholarship recipient.
