Dr. Diane-Laure Arjalies and Dr. Jury Gualandris are part of group of six Ivey faculty awarded the new Dean’s Research Faculty Fellowship.  Both Arjaliès and Gualandris’ research in Sustainable Finance and Circular Economy are part of the Ivey Centre for Building Sustainable Value’s strategic priorities.

The Fellowship program provides accomplished Ivey researchers with the opportunity to take their research agenda and productivity to the next level of success including increasing top-tier publication, level of external funding, and facilitating their participation in high-impact collaborations.

Fifteen Associate Professors across diverse area groups of faculties applied for the award submitting research proposals. The applications were reviewed by a panel of external reviewers, comprised of highly regarded Professors, leaders in the fields of the Applicants’ study, Chairs of leading international institutes in their fields, former Associate Deans of Research, and former and current Department Chairs.

Criteria for the Fellowship included the novelty, ambitiousness, and real-world relevance of the research problem; the positioning and capability of the researcher to complete the work; and the potential for academic, industry, and societal or public policy impact. The program represents Ivey’s commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion principles in its selection criteria, impact measures, and selection committee composition.
