Muneeb is a PhD student within the Information systems group at Ivey. He is interested in the interactions between emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital public infrastructure, their responsible integration into public systems to address societal challenges, and mitigation of the resulting long-term risks to balance innovation with social resilience. Prior to Ivey, he served as a civil officer in the Government of Pakistan, led digital strategy as a Senior Manager at the country's largest bank, and conducted research with the UN's Office of Digital and Emerging Technologies. He holds  an MBA from the University of Minnesota as a Fulbright Scholar.
