Shiqi is an International Business PhD student at the Ivey Business school. She is passionate about knowledge transfer, market expansion, and innovation performance of multinational enterprises in emerging economies. From the institutional perspective, she is also interested in foreign direct investment attraction strategies. Examples of research questions that she is fascinated by include how emerging market multinationals transfer knowledge to their acquired subsidiaries in advanced economies; how would emerging market multinationals expand into an advanced economy; and how could an advanced economy, such as Canada, more effectively attract EMNEs.
