Western Founders Network’s annual consulting case competition is back!
The Western Founders Network is partnering with the Ivey FinTech Club and Scotiabank Digital Banking Lab and IBM Canada’s National Innovation Team to deliver Western University’s largest financial technologies consulting case competition complete with free lunch and prize money.
First place: $500
Second place: $200
Third place: $100
This competition is designed for students with a minimal technology and computer science background. It is created for the purpose of giving students the experience of applying different software technologies to the current problems of a live business.
The competition will begin with a tutorial given by IBM executives on the featured technology followed by four hours to derive a solution. The winning team will not only receive cash prizes but their solution might also be adopted and implemented by the case protagonist!
