The IBM Technology Consulting Competition is an annual case conference hosted by Ivey FinTech Club and Western Founders Network at the Ivey Business School. The event is one of the largest student-run case competitions in Canada, and the only one with a focus on technology. Business and engineering students experience a jam-packed day of learning, pitching and networking with industry professionals, discovering innovative applications of technology for complex corporate challenges.
Last year’s IBM Technology Consulting Competition brought over 500 students and 105 teams from 10 universities across Canada. Students converged to tackle a real-life business scenario at CIBC Capital Markets, applying technology solutions to solve some of the toughest problems corporate executives are facing. Solutions were presented in front of seasoned industry veterans, with cash prizes and interview opportunities up for grabs.
This year’s Technology Consulting Competition is slated to be the largest and most exciting one yet. The 2019 IBM Technology Consulting Competition will be hosted at Ivey Business school on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Mark your calendars as this is an event you won’t want to miss!
