The Ivey Business School and the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority invite you to register for a unique first time event that brings together business, agriculture, and practical learning.

Attendees will participate in a case-based discussion around sustainable agriculture. Ivey's famous case-based method of teaching will be used to bring the learning to life. The event will be based on a new Ivey case study, “Saving the Soil,” which invites consideration of a decision confronting every farm business operator: Should I commit to Carbon Regenerative Soil Management? How will that affect yield and profit?

The discussion will be moderated by Professor Tima Bansal. Dr. Bansal's research targets the interplay between business strategy and sustainability. Her TedX talk describes some of her recent ideas.

The case will be circulated one week before the event. Please read and prepare to contribute to the discussion.

This event is targeted at a diverse audience, including: farmers, next generation farmers, farm input suppliers, agricultural researchers, policy makers, consumers, and the press. All are welcome.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
