Where: Spencer Leadership Centre, London, Canada

The PhD Sustainability Academy, co-hosted by the Ivey Business School and Alliance for Research on Corporate Sustainability (ARCS), convenes 15 promising PhD students and senior researchers championing path-breaking research on sustainability across multiple disciplines using diverse theoretical and methodological approaches. Each student receives intensive feedback on their research project. The participants and faculty members represent a range of management disciplines and methodologies. This Academy represents one of the foremost learning and networking events for students researching social and environmental issues.

"This was hands down the best academic experience I have had to date during my PhD. The feedback I received on my project helped re-orient my research in more productive and more impactful directions, the participants and mentors I met quickly became supportive colleagues that help me navigate my PhD, and the overall experience was one extremely thought-provoking and fun. I would recommend this opportunity to anybody looking to make an impact through their research and interested in joining a community of like-minded scholars." 2015 PhD Academy Participant, Simon Pek
"The promise: to get very generous feedback on your research, in a community that deeply cares about you, people and the planet. The cost: friendships for life." - 2015 PhD Academy Participant, Maja Tampe
