A generous donation from Hazelview, a company that’s focused on creating long-term value and sustainable growth in communities, will support students in the HBA Sustainability Certificate program and advance the work of Ivey’s Centre for Building Sustainable Value.
Thanks to the donation, the newly established HBA Scholarship in Sustainability will be awarded to a full-time HBA2 student enrolled in the HBA Sustainability Certificate program. One award of $8,000 will be given to a student based on academic achievement. The Hazelview HBA Award in Sustainability recipient will be announced in November 2022. The donation also includes a gift to support the Centre for Building Sustainable Value’s activities.
Professor Oana Branzei, Director of the HBA Sustainability Certificate Program, said the new scholarship supports Ivey’s purpose to “inspire leaders for a sustainable and prosperous world,” and the award recipient will exemplify such leadership.
