The role of the MScA in the MSc in Management program is very strong, as it allows for our current students to be involved within the Ivey Community and have the opportunity to build their own identity with each incoming class. Made up of an executive team consisting of seven current Ivey MSc students; President, VP Finance, VP Internal, VP External, VP International Business, VP Business Analytics and our CEMS Club President. The MScA is governed by a commitment to the following three responsibilities:
Mission Statement of the MScA
1. Internal: Foster an environment that promotes the development of strong social and professional relationships among students in the program, including each term of CEMS exchange students.
2. External: Work to consistently increase the reputation and awareness of the MSc program. This includes outreach activities on behalf of the class, as well as the fostering of opportunities for direct relationship-building between the class, HBA and MBA programs, alumni, and external institutions.
3. Administrative: Build the infrastructure/processes required to communicate effectively with the class and administration. These processes operate in both directions: from the class to administration and vice-versa. The council will be welcoming to all opinions and ideas.

| What is one thing you hope to accomplish in your role on the MScA? | Help the class of 2019 leave a strong legacy on the MSc program. I hope that during my time with the MScA I can both help students and the program moving forward. Whether that be by creating better professional awareness of the MSc degree or provide for our class whatever resources they may need so they feel prepared to take on the world. |
| What is your goal when you graduate from the MSc program? | Goals, I have many; help tackle climate change, work on my own startup... There's a ton of things I want to do. However, before all that I think I'll travel the world and help as many different people and communities as I can along the way. When I get back I hope to continue helping others in any way I can. |

Since the MSc program is still developing, I really hope to concretely instill annual charitable initiates and/or events for the classes. The mission statement for Ivey states they want to develop students to "contribute to the societies within which they operate". Not only do I want to create opportunities for students to get involved in the London area, but in align with our program, I hope to create opportunities to make an impact internationally. |
