Why did you decide to do an MBA?
My primary motivation for pursuing an MBA largely stems from continued self-development in skills such as leadership, strategy, and decision-making. More specifically, the Ivey MBA is preferred given its case-based approach, which I believe helps groom required communication skills, both persuasive and informative.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
I think it is open-mindedness for me. Given my background and previous experiences, I naturally approach problem-solving in a certain way, just as many others in the cohort do. However, the rich diversity within the class, both culturally and professionally, creates opportunities for us to learn from one another and broaden our perspectives.
Even in areas where I may have expertise, someone with no prior experience in that field can offer a completely different lens or ask a thoughtful question that challenges my assumptions and encourages new ways of thinking. I see this as a significant advantage of the program and a key contributor to our collective growth.
