“Pass the Glass is an initiative targeted at the incoming female MBA class to make their transition into the program a bit easier. As we know, women face unique challenges in the world of business and academics and it’s no surprise that for years, women have been underrepresented in MBA programs. Pass the Glass is a great way for current MBA female students to use their knowledge and experiences from their time to support those people who are just about to ‘walk that same path’. People sometimes ask the question ‘what would you tell your younger self?’ or ‘What do you wish you knew last year?’ Pass the glass was a great way for me to answer that question by paying it forward! I considered it a privilege to do my bit to help another woman to feel just a bit more comfortable, more well-adjusted, and hopefully, more confident about her Ivey journey”.

"Women supporting women is a powerful driver of change - through advocacy, mentorship and partnership, more women are having their voices heard in the business world. The Pass the Glass mentorship initiative is another avenue for current Ivey women to share their perspective and set up future female MBAs for success- so they can feel confident they will make a meaningful impact in the classroom, right off the bat. There is always another opportunity to create more space at the table for newcomers, we just need to remember to lean back and help them pull up a chair."
