Why did you decide to do an MBA?
My decision to pursue an MBA was fueled by ambition, not just for a title, but for genuine leadership, growth, and impact. Having worked across multiple sectors in Nigeria and across functions including business analysis, performance management, and digital innovation, I saw firsthand how access to the right spaces can transform the way you think.
I knew I wanted to become the kind of leader who shapes strategy, leads with clarity, and creates meaningful impact at scale. Pursuing an MBA felt like the right investment in myself to accelerate that growth.
Beyond the academics, I was drawn to the opportunity to learn alongside a cohort of diverse, ambitious peers. I knew that environment would challenge my thinking, broaden my perspective, and shape me into a more well-rounded leader.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
One significant thing I have learned is that preparation is the antidote to anxiety. Ivey's intensity taught me early that the depth of my preparation directly determines how confidently I show up. However, I have also learned that courage is much more important than confidence because confidence is not something you always feel.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
How deeply human it is. I expected the academic intensity, but I didn't expect how much the program would reveal about who I am, how I lead, how I receive feedback, and how I show up when I'm uncomfortable.
Ivey in one word or a few words: Please share what your Ivey experience is to you!
Uncomfortable growth.
