Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I chose Ivey to strengthen my strategic decision-making through case-based learning and to gain global exposure by working alongside diverse peers. My goal was to build the skills and perspective needed to lead cross-functional teams in international settings and to contribute meaningfully to the future of global healthcare innovation.
After completing my MBA, I plan to continue building my career in the healthcare industry, with a focus on medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology. I’m particularly interested in product ownership and market access roles that allow me to guide innovations from development through to launch. Having worked across various functions in a healthcare startup, I now want to deepen my expertise by focusing on how companies enter and grow in both new and existing markets.

My MBA journey is a personal investment in growth, not just in my career, but in how I think, collaborate, and lead. Coming from a startup environment in healthcare, I had broad exposure but limited opportunities to truly lead strategy from end to end. Ivey has given me the space to refine my thinking, challenge assumptions, and approach decisions with greater clarity and confidence!
