Why did you decide to do an MBA?
Having worked for over 7 years in the pharmaceutical and health tech industries as a business development professional, I was eager to further expand and build my leadership and analytical skills. The Ivey’s case-based approach and strong focus on real world leadership makes it the ideal place to learn, expand my network, and improve my technical capabilities. Even at this stage, I have already begun to experience the Ivey effect and I am excited about how the next one year unfolds.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
One of the most significant lessons for me has been learning how to continuously adapt and evolve in a fast-paced environment. The classroom contributions and team discussions have pushed me beyond my comfort zone, helping me build greater confidence not only academically, but in other areas of my life as well.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
What still surprises me is how well I’ve been able to manage so many competing priorities. I guess that’s part of the “Ivey magic.” From intense case prep to coffee chats and team discussions, the experience has pushed me to become more organized, adaptable, and intentional with my time.
