The Ivey MBA Internship gives you the opportunity to apply what you have learned in a professional setting.

Typically completed over 12 to 16 weeks with an organization in Canada, the internship can help you:

• Apply your MBA learning to real business challenges
• Build new professional and industry-specific skills
• Explore a potential career path before graduation
• Expand your professional network
• Gain meaningful work experience in a new industry or function

Students complete all MBA academic requirements before beginning the internship. Students who opt into the internship stream complete their internship from January to April, extending their program timeline. Students who choose not to participate, or who do not secure an internship by the required deadline, follow the regular program timeline.

When do I decide?

You do not need to decide whether you are interested in the internship option before starting the MBA program. After arriving at Ivey, students will be invited to attend an information session about the internship stream and will be invited to apply. Additional information about eligibility, timelines, and the application process will be provided during the program.

Throughout the internship process, students receive support from Ivey Career Management, including:
