Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I knew that I wanted to learn more about business, it has always been a passion of mine and I knew I had more to learn. I also wanted to expand my network, I had worked in a primarily remote setting and getting to meet and spend a year with 160 like minded individuals seemed like a no brainer to me. I also had interacted with so many alumni that all said the Ivey MBA had been the difference maker in their careers and none of them hesitated to help me with any questions I had.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
Two months in, the most significant thing I've learned is the perspectives of my classmates. We all come from such different backgrounds but have so much in common. Learning about both my classmates work experience and where they come from has taught me so much already.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The most surprising aspect has been how fun the class experience is, I knew I'd enjoy the case method but the actual is experience is so much more. Plenty of laughs and learning throughout has kept every class enjoyable and engaging.
