I decided to pursue an MBA to sharpen my strategic decision-making and enhance my ability to lead cross-functional teams. With the business world becoming increasingly interconnected, I believe it's essential to collaborate across divisions and leverage diverse perspectives to drive long-term organizational success. The MBA experience is helping me build the skills, network, and mindset needed to lead with impact in complex, fast-evolving environments.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The most significant thing I’ve learned at Ivey is how to lead and collaborate effectively under pressure. From day one, the program immerses you in team-based, high-intensity environments that mirror real-world business challenges. It’s taught me how to navigate tough situations, prioritize what truly matters, and bring out the best in a diverse group, skills that are essential for any aspiring leader.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The most surprising part of the Ivey MBA journey has been realizing how much you can accomplish in a single day. When I take a moment to reflect, I’m often amazed at how I'm balancing academics, networking, team projects, and personal growth, all within 24 hours. It’s pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of and shown me just how much you can stretch your limits in the right environment.
