Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I decided to pursue an MBA because I want to open new career opportunities while growing my skills in leadership, strategy, and problem-solving. I chose Ivey because of its strong case-based learning approach, which helps me learn by solving real business problems and prepares me to think critically and act confidently in different situations. This hands-on method is not only useful for consulting but also valuable across many industries. I’m also excited about Ivey’s strong network and close-knit community, which I believe will be a key resource for learning, mentorship, and career growth.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The most significant thing I’ve learned at Ivey is that it’s not about finding one “right” answer, but about developing perspective. Through the case method, I’ve learned how to understand and analyze data, deal with complexity, and structure my thinking. It also honed my skill to actively engage, listen carefully, and speak up, which trained me to think critically on my feet and approach problems from different angles.
