Why did you decide to do an MBA?

After spending five years in tech and another five as a Strategic Consultant with the Government of India—leading district-level operations and national initiatives—I realized my true passion lies at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and impact. I thrived in roles where I could solve complex problems, build high-performing teams, and drive results across diverse stakeholders. But I knew that to scale this impact globally and pivot into consulting at a higher level, I needed to strengthen my business acumen and global exposure.
An MBA at Ivey was the natural next step. The Case Method sharpens decision-making in real-world scenarios, and the collaborative culture aligns with how I lead and learn. I chose Ivey not just to level up my skills, but to surround myself with people who challenge, inspire, and bring fresh perspectives from around the world.
This MBA isn’t a detour—it’s a launchpad. And I’m here to make every case, every conversation, and every connection count.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
In just six weeks at Ivey, the most significant thing I’ve learned is the transformative power of the Case Method. Coming from a decade of professional experience, I initially assumed I had a solid grip on problem-solving and decision-making, but the case-based approach challenged that assumption fast.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

The most surprising and rewarding aspect of the Ivey MBA journey so far has been the sheer strength of the community. I expected academic rigor and a fast-paced environment, but what truly stood out was the unwavering support from all directions. The alumni network didn’t just open doors; they held them open. The outgoing batch generously shared insights, notes, and mentorship without hesitation. Faculty members go beyond teaching—they genuinely invest in our growth. And the cohort itself? It’s a powerhouse of collaboration, energy, and camaraderie.
In an intense program like this, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But at Ivey, you never feel alone. There’s always someone ready to help, guide, or simply listen—and that collective spirit has been both surprising and deeply inspiring.

Ivey in a few words: Please share what your Ivey experience is to you!

Transformational. Energizing. Absolutely worth it.
Joining Ivey has been one of the best decisions of my life- not just for my career, but for who I’m becoming. The experience goes far beyond classrooms and cases. It’s the people, the pace, and the perspective shifts that make it unforgettable. Every conversation challenges me, every case sharpens me, and every day adds something to both my professional toolkit and personal growth.
It’s not just an MBA- it’s a life experience.
