Why did you decide to do an MBA?

I decided to pursue an MBA to strengthen my leadership skills, broaden my strategic thinking, and prepare for greater impact in my career. My experience in finance showed me the value of combining technical expertise with strong decision-making and communication skills.

An MBA also gives me the opportunity to learn from diverse peers, expand my global perspective, and build a network of ambitious professionals. Ultimately, I chose this path to grow as a leader and create meaningful value in the organizations and communities I serve.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

I expected strong academics and case-based learning, but I did not fully anticipate the pace, the level of self-reflection required, and how much I would learn from my peers. The diversity of perspectives in every discussion has challenged how I think and make decisions. I am becoming more confident in speaking up, adapting under pressure, and trusting my judgement in uncertain situations.

Ivey in one word or a few words: Please share what your Ivey experience is to you!

My Ivey experience has pushed me beyond my comfort zone, but that discomfort is shaping resilience, confidence, and meaningful personal and professional growth.
