Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I decided to pursue an MBA because I wanted to change and set myself up for the next part of my life. Coming from a non-traditional sales background, I wanted to make a pivot into the consulting industry, and Ivey was the best program to help me do that, considering its strong alumni network and its focus on real-world case-based education, which I find aligns best with my learning style.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The most significant thing I've learned at Ivey is the power of perspective in decision-making. Through the case-based learning method, I have come to appreciate different approaches to problem-solving, diverse viewpoints, and developing strategic outcomes.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The level of immersion at Ivey is extremely captivating. Being placed into learning teams with individuals from different professional backgrounds enables a holistic learning experience.
