Why did you decide to do an MBA?
Coming from an engineering background, I knew I wanted to have an MBA to round out my business knowledge. Overall, the MBA has helped open new opportunities in my career such as an extensive network, new roles, and leadership experiences.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The most important thing I've learned so far is the importance of character in life and business. While someone could have all the right technical tools, if a leader can't connect with them and inspire trust in clients, then all the technical skills are for naught.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The most surprising aspect of the MBA so far has been the variety of perspectives within our cohort. People have truly inspiring stories and unique experiences that I don't think I would have encountered anywhere else. The MBA has given me a platform to connect with them in a way I simply wouldn't have had otherwise.
