Consulting - Finance, Audit and Assurance

Why did you decide to do an MBA?

My background in finance, audit, and assurance taught me how businesses really work, where value is created, and where risk hides. But technical precision only takes you so far. I wanted to move from assessing decisions to making them; from reading a strategy to building one. The MBA was the accelerant, a way to sharpen my thinking, expand into broader leadership across finance and strategy, and build the international network and cross-cultural fluency that global roles demand. Ivey specifically made sense because of how it teaches: the case method forces you to take a position, defend it under pressure, and update it when someone makes a better argument.

Ivey in one word or a few words: Please share what your Ivey experience is to you!

"Pressure that builds you"
Every case, every cold call, every debate, every group assignment, and every presentation with a sharp cohort pushes you past comfort and into clarity. The leadership experience is not just professional; it leads you to genuine self-discovery. Ivey does not ease you into leadership; it drops you in, provides you with the right support, and expects you to rise. Looking back, that pressure was not the hard part. It was the point.
