Why did you decide to do an MBA?
After spending nearly a decade in consulting, project management, and leading high-impact teams across sectors, I realized that to drive broader organizational change and move into strategic leadership roles, I needed to complement my technical expertise with a deeper understanding of business. I chose to pursue an MBA at Ivey to refine my decision-making, strengthen my leadership skills, and broaden my perspective through a globally diverse cohort. The case-based learning, fast-paced environment, and strong emphasis on collaboration at Ivey made it the perfect place to challenge myself and grow both personally and professionally.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The most significant thing I’ve learned at Ivey is the power of perspective. Whether in the classroom, group discussions, or networking events, I’ve come to appreciate how diverse backgrounds, experiences, and ways of thinking enrich problem-solving and decision-making. Ivey has taught me that leadership isn’t about having all the answers—it's about listening actively, staying adaptable, and empowering those around you to succeed together.
