Why did you decide to do an MBA?
After six years of professional experience across consulting, data analytics, and risk management at PwC, I realized that driving true digital transformation requires more than just technical expertise — it demands a deeper understanding of strategy, operations, and leadership. Through my experiences leading national ERP modernization initiatives, rolling out new AI-driven tools, and managing cross-functional teams, I developed a strong technical and operational foundation. However, I recognized that to take on larger, client-facing leadership roles and advise organizations at a strategic level, I needed to complement my technical background with a robust business education.
An MBA was the natural next step to build this business acumen, refine my leadership skills, and transition into digital transformation consulting at a higher-impact level. I chose Ivey specifically because of its practical, case-based learning model, its strength in consulting preparation, and its outstanding alumni network across top-tier firms. I am confident that an Ivey MBA will equip me with the strategic thinking, communication skills, and leadership capabilities necessary to deliver lasting value to organizations navigating complex digital change.

The most significant thing I’ve learned at Ivey is how quickly I can adapt to a fast-paced, case-based learning environment while applying strategic thinking throughout each day. The frequency of daily case discussions challenged me to efficiently absorb information, synthesize insights, and make confident decisions under time constraints.
This experience sharpened my ability to think strategically without perfect information, prioritize key actions, and consider multiple stakeholder perspectives. It also reinforced the importance of preparation, time management, and collaboration, all critical skills that will serve me well in my career moving forward.
