Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I decided to pursue an MBA at a point where I had built strong execution skills but wanted to step into more strategic, high-impact roles. Having worked across diverse industries—from product to service and now in technology—while engaging with both corporate and government stakeholders, I developed a broad perspective on how businesses operate. At the same time, I found myself increasingly drawn to bigger questions around growth, market entry, and long-term strategy.
That’s when an MBA became less of a “want” and more of a necessary step to bridge the gap between execution and strategy. I wanted to build structured problem-solving skills, strengthen my decision-making under uncertainty, and prepare for a career in consulting where I can drive meaningful impact at scale.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
One of the most significant things I’ve learned at Ivey is that if you have the intent and drive to do something, you’re never alone in figuring out how to do it. There is always someone it could be classmates, faculty, or alumni, just a conversation away, ready to guide or support you. Ivey creates an environment where lack of resources doesn’t become a barrier; if you have the initiative, the community ensures you have the support to move forward.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
What’s been most surprising is how genuinely supportive and proactive the community is. People here are incredibly ambitious, yet equally willing to help, even without being asked. Simply sharing your goals or vision often leads others to connect you with the right people or opportunities. That combination of high ambition and a strong culture of helping each other succeed is something I didn’t expect at this level.
