Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I chose to pursue an MBA at Ivey Business School because I wanted to move beyond execution and play a more active role in shaping decisions. In my previous experience, I was often close to the problem but not always the one driving the direction, and I wanted to change that.
At the same time, I realized that many of the challenges organizations face today sit across multiple teams and functions, so being able to lead in that kind of environment is critical. The MBA is helping me strengthen how I think through complex problems, communicate decisions, and work effectively with different stakeholders to drive outcome.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The most valuable thing I’ve gained at Ivey Business School is how to stay effective in high-pressure team environments. The program constantly puts you in situations where you have to make decisions quickly, manage different perspectives, and keep the team focused on what matters most.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The biggest surprise for me at Ivey Business School has been how much it pushes you personally, not just academically. You’re constantly adapting, working with different personalities, and learning how to show up more effectively as a teammate and leader.
