Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I decided to pursue an MBA because I reached a point in my career where I had built a strong foundation in growth marketing, but I wanted to expand beyond execution into broader business leadership. In my previous roles, I enjoyed the analytical and creative parts of marketing, but what really energized me was solving business problems, working cross-functionally, and influencing strategy. I realized that to keep growing, I needed a stronger foundation in areas like finance, strategy, operations, and leadership. Long term, I want to move into roles where I can combine my marketing background with broader business decision-making, whether that is in product, general management, or eventually entrepreneurship. The MBA felt like the right step because it gives me the toolkit, network, and leadership development to make that transition intentionally.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The most significant thing I’ve learned at Ivey is that I am a confident and capable leader, and that I need to trust myself more. Being surrounded by faculty, staff, and classmates who consistently believe in me has helped me start to believe in myself in the same way.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The most surprising part of the Ivey MBA journey has been how genuinely supportive the community is. Even though it is a competitive program with world-class faculty and opportunities, people go out of their way to help each other succeed and make others feel included, both inside and outside the classroom.

Exciting, challenging, and rewarding. Ivey has made me excited to learn again, and even when the growth is not obvious in the moment, I can already look back and see how much I have developed.
