Why did you decide to do an MBA?
After nearly 5 years in consulting, I decided to pursue an MBA to broaden my strategic perspective, deepen my leadership skills, and better understand the full spectrum of business decision‑making. I wanted an experience that challenged how I think, exposed me to diverse viewpoints, and pushed me beyond functional expertise into general management. Ivey’s case‑based learning model and highly collaborative culture were a natural fit, allowing me to learn by doing while engaging closely with classmates from around the world. The MBA has been a chance to step back, reflect, and intentionally shape the next chapter of my career.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The most significant thing I’ve learned at Ivey is how to make decisions with incomplete information while balancing diverse perspectives. The case method constantly pushes you to take a point of view, defend it, and adapt as new insights emerge.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The most surprising aspect has been how strong and supportive the Ivey community is. Despite the intensity of the program, classmates are incredibly collaborative.
