Why did you decide to do an MBA?
I’ve provided and witnessed the transformative power of compassionate care throughout my nursing career. I have experienced the impact of strong leadership, innovative thinking, and a systems approach to improving patient outcomes. Nonetheless, I have also seen areas where our healthcare system can improve. I have always been driven to do more – to bridge the gap between patient care and organizational leadership. Ivey’s MBA will equip you with the tools to drive meaningful change in the healthcare sector. Ivey is known for its case-based approach, strong leadership focus, and commitment to developing innovative thinkers. This MBA is a critical step for my future long-term goals.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
So far, the most significant thing I have learned at Ivey is the power of collaboration and teamwork. It is much more efficient and enjoyable, as opposed to working on your own all the time!
