Why did you decide to do an MBA?
To take my career to the next level. I am looking to take the skills that I developed over the last decade and transition into a leadership role.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
The importance of empathy when working with a diverse group. Our class is Global in nature and each student brings their own unique perspective to the table. By speaking less and listening more, I have expanded my understanding of fields that I have not had exposure to previously.
What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?
The level of camaraderie with the other students. Everyone talks about Ivey having a culture and it is on full display everyday. From the high level of engagement in each of the classes, to the way that students step up and take on leadership roles. There is a feeling that we are working towards our goals together.
