After nearly a decade of experience in HR and operations across dynamic startups and global organizations, I realized that to grow into a more strategic and impactful leader, I needed to strengthen my business acumen beyond people operations. I chose to pursue an MBA to broaden my perspective, challenge myself intellectually, and build the tools and confidence to drive innovation and organizational growth in fast-evolving industries like tech and blockchain. The MBA journey is not only about gaining knowledge—it's about transforming how I think, lead, and collaborate. I'm excited to be part of a community that pushes boundaries and inspires bold thinking.
What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?
Learning at Ivey has been a transformative process of rebuilding myself. The case-based, fast-paced environment pushes you to think critically, solve problems under pressure, and communicate effectively. What stands out the most is seeing how everyone in the cohort grows, developing not just business acumen, but the ability to manage ambiguity, juggle multiple demands, and support one another through intense challenges. The intensity of the class schedule combined with daily case discussions creates a fast-learning environment that mirrors real business challenges. It’s not just about absorbing knowledge—it’s about applying it under pressure, debating diverse viewpoints, and making decisions with limited information, just like in the real world. I didn't expect how quickly this method would sharpen my thinking and confidence across unfamiliar topics.
