Manju Das, MBA 2010
Prior to her MBA, Manju Das has worked in the Canadian banking industry in communication and HR roles. Manju Das is a graduate from the University of Toronto with an Honours in International Relations. Currently Manju Das is the VP of the Marketing club at Ivey as well as a Student Ambassador and CSR senator. In her spare time Manju likes to travel, keep up with various dance styles and read.
Alexander MacDonald, MBA 2009
Alexander MacDonald has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University / St. Francis Xavier University. Before coming to Ivey he worked for both a high-tech startup in Montreal and an oil company in Calgary. He is currently the MBAA Communications Senator and founded the Ivey Public Speaking Club. Alexander previously played basketball at the collegiate level and now enjoys continuing this hobby (albeit at a much slower pace).
Vishal Padiyar, MBA 2009
Prior to the MBA, Vishal Padiyar spent four years building and managing a leading wireless service provider’s voice and data networks in New York City. He holds a Masters in Engineering from Texas A and M University in College Station, Texas and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Upon completion of the MBA, Vishal plans to return to the high tech sector. In his spare time, he enjoys reading (even non-MBA literature), searching for the next ‘killer’ application and catering to his rapidly growing twitter following with weak attempts at satire.
Tony Rizzi, MBA 2009
Prior to pursuing his MBA at Ivey, Tony Rizzi spent several years in the Canadian telecom industry in engineering and product management roles. Tony graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor of Engineering Science. At Ivey, Tony acts as a Student Ambassador, and is Co-president of the Analytics Club. Upon completion of the MBA, he plans to pursue a finance role. In his spare time, Tony enjoys scuba diving, improv and writing e-books.
Mehran Redjvani, MBA 2009
Prior to joining Ivey, Mehran practiced in Investment Banking and Actuarial Consulting in the Financial Institutions space. Mehran is the co-President of the entrepreneurial club at Ivey and wishes to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions upon graduating. In his spare time, Mehran enjoys sports, reading and travel.
Tirath Sandhu, MBA 2010
Before joining Ivey, Tirath undertook various roles within the provincial government in the economic and international development arena for the manufacturing sector. She has also worked in media services. Upon completing her Ivey MBA, Tirath wants to pursue a career in strategic consulting. In her spare time she likes to swim, read, play ultimate frisbee, travel and follow politics.
Karen Yang, MBA 2010
Prior to pursuing her MBA at Ivey, Karen Yang spent several years in the insurance industry in software development and consulting roles. Karen graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science. Karen has just started the MBA program at Ivey and plans to pursue a career in Marketing upon graduaton. In her spare time, Karen enjoys rock climbing, tennis, snowboarding, and getting involved with her community.
