CPG Industry into E-commerce

Why did you decide to do an MBA?

After leading eCommerce and brand marketing strategies across India’s top CPG companies like Hershey, Orkla, and L'Oréal, I reached a pivotal point in my career. I had built strong execution muscle, but I knew that to step into senior global roles, I needed to complement that with deeper strategic, financial, and leadership capabilities. That’s what led me to pursue an MBA.

I chose Ivey for its immersive case-based learning, its global network, and the opportunity to grow alongside peers who challenge and inspire me. My goal post-MBA is to lead high-impact digital and brand transformation initiatives in North America—ideally with global consumer giants. Ivey is helping me build not just the skills, but the mindset and community to get there.

What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?

The most significant thing I’ve learned at Ivey is the power of perspective. Whether it's dissecting a business case, navigating a team dynamic, or engaging in a class debate, I’ve realized that there’s rarely one “right” answer—but there’s immense value in listening deeply, challenging assumptions, and embracing ambiguity. The case method has pushed me to think on my feet, defend my views, and—most importantly—change them when a better argument emerges. That mindset shift has been transformational, not just as a student but as a leader in the making.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

The most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey has been how quickly deep bonds are formed. I expected academic rigor, career acceleration, and global perspectives—but I didn’t expect to find a community that genuinely celebrates your wins, supports you through setbacks, and pushes you to grow every single day. From cold calls to case comps to late-night coffee-fueled prep sessions, it’s the people who’ve made this journey far more enriching than I ever imagined.

Ivey in a few words: Please share what your Ivey experience is to you!

Challenging, transformative, and deeply human.

Ivey isn’t just about learning business—it’s about discovering who you are when the pressure’s on, and who you can become when surrounded by people who believe in you.
