Why did you decide to do an MBA?

After pivoting from core finance to consulting at one of the big 4s in Nigeria, I recognised that I needed to add to my knowledge toolkit as a consultant. I also wanted to go through an international MBA program to expand my network, experience and perspective.

What is the most significant thing you've learned at Ivey?

I've learnt quite a lot of things from Ivey, however, the value of network has been significant for me. Since joining Ivey, I've had the opportunity to tap into Ivey's incredible network of people across firms and industries. Everyone Ivey alum I have spoken with was incredible helpful and was always happy to pay it forward.

What's been the most surprising aspect of the Ivey MBA journey to date?

For me, it has to be the way the cohort combines the intensity of work with having so much fun along the way.

What books are on your bedside table AND/OR what podcast are you listing to right now?

Financial Stewardship

How do you manage stress (i.e. sports, exercise, meditation etc.)?

I recently found that cooking and cleaning distresses me these days! I also take out time to pray and study my bible.

Any additional info you might want to share (interesting facts, special hobbies etc.)

I'm going to be a plant mum soon!
